It’s been a month since I shared my last vintage and thrift store haul, so I’ve got a pile of clothes I’ve been dying to share with you. I must say, I found some really special pieces shopping at my two favorite places – Super Thrift Store and the Rose Bowl Flea Market.
Haul #1: Super Thrift Store Haul
As I shared last month, thrift stores are where you’re going to find the best deals. You have to work a little harder to find what you’re looking for, but that makes it all the more rewarding for me. Super Thrift is my go-to thrift store because it’s local, it’s a non-profit so you’re supporting a good cause, and their stores have the best deals around. In fact, whenever I shop Super Thrift I try to stay $5 and under for each piece and my recent thrift store haul was no exception. Everything I share in the video is $5 OR LESS including (spoil alert!) an AMAZING silky rose gold leopard print skirt for only $1!!! Haul #2: Rose Bowl Flea Market Haul
My last flea market haul was pretty spectacular. I think I might have to say it’s my best Rose Bowl haul EVER. The Rose Bowl flea market is filled with some pretty wonderful vintage resellers. As I’ve shared before, when you shop resellers you are paying for their time and effort to find the best pieces so don’t expect to get thrift store pricing. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t some room for negotiating. One way to get a good deal is to buy multiple pieces from the same vendor. One of my favorite pieces I share in the video was originally $100. Since I bought three pieces from this vendor, she knocked down the prices for me. You’ll have to watch the video to see this dress – it is truly special. Lately I’ve been loving pink, I’ve been loving slip dresses, and I’ve been loving silky/satin materials. This dress checks all those boxes!
