The “midi” length skirt is antiquated by today’s dress code. Okay to be fair I do see more and more of the mid-length skirts in stores and on women recently. Think of Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday, throwback to the glamorous and classy days when women wore midi skirts and mid length dresses daily.

I continue to favor this length for that very reason: feminine classiness…not to mention flattering and comfortable. Contrasting the length with a cropped top revealing just a peek of skin adds some modernism and sexiness to an otherwise conservative piece.
Today I paired my all black outfit with Chloe scalloped pumps to compliment the femininity of the midi skirt. I accessorized this look with a bit of pattern and whimsy using a cheetah belt and matching headband.
