What is Microcurrent Technology?
I had always heard about microcurrent facials. They seemed to be the it facial for celebrities but I never actually had an opportunity to try one myself. That was until I got my hands on my Nuface Trinity Device just over 2 years ago. The at-home device uses microcurrent technology, low level electrical currents that mimic your body’s natural currents. It delivers these currents into your skin and muscles to help tone your facial muscles.
NuFACE Trinity Product Review
So the real question is, does it work? And to that I’d have to say YES again. I love the results I get using my NuFACE Trinity device. For starters, it gives me instant visible satisfaction. I noticed results from my very first use. Just look at this recent before and after photo below. The right side (labeled “AFTER”), is the side that I applied a NuFACE treatment while the left side (labeled “BEFORE”) has no treatment. On the after side, you can visibly see how much more lifted and contoured my face is, particularly around my cheek and jaw line in comparison to the before side.
Each time you use the NuFACE Trinity device is a like a workout for your face, so the more you use it, the better your results. I like to use the device 3-4 times per week because why not?! I’m so pleased with my long term results too, particularly with reducing the appearance of fine lines between my brows. You know those pesky number elevens? I rarely notice mine anymore, but if I do, I give myself a quick NuFACE treatment and in just 5 minutes it minimizes the appearance of these fine lines. Nowadays, when I have an event to go to, I always give myself a facial treatment to have my skin looking its best!
Product Tips
- Wash your face with an oil free cleanser before starting.
- Always treat half your face first to see the before and after results.
- Don’t keep the device off the charger for extended periods. In other words, always charge before the battery is fully dead. I’ve had my device for over two years and I think this has been key.

You darlings know I recently moved, so I only had access to limited beauty products over the last three weeks. I had to be cut throat, so during this time, I stopped using all my regular serums and only used the Guerlain Abeille Royale Anti-Aging Double R Facial Serum. While this serum is a bit on the pricey side, I pleasantly discovered that I was able to replace three other serums for all that I get in this one bottle!! I was so drawn to this serum because it’s made with honey ingredients and my skin has always thrived with products made with honey. The unique bottle has two chambers which deliver ingredients to both renew and repair your skin. On the golden amber side, you have the Poly-fermented Ouessant and Ikaria Honeys which contain resurfacing PHAs and AHAs to firm the look of skin. On the lighter side, you have radiance restoring white honey to give your skin a beautiful glow. I love that you get all these amazing benefits in just one serum!
