Hold on to your boobies darlings it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month???? Did you know that black women are “40% more likely to die from breast cancer” than white women? Early detection is the best way to beat breast cancer, so giving ourselves regular self exams combined with physician recommended mammograms is crucial. Darlings, this is one area we can’t afford to not put ourselves first.
I’m so proud to be teaming up with Talbots once again for their 2nd annual Art of the Scarf collection in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Talbots has commissioned six renowned female artists to design a beautiful collection of one-of-a kind scarves. Each of the 100% silk scarves represents the determination, strength, and courage of women. Talbots is kindly donating 20% of the net proceeds of the scarves to the Susan B. Komen foundation. I personally chose a stunning scarf designed by Nadia Flowers.
