Growing up, sunny days never phased me. I would go to the beach…no sunscreen. I would ride my bike around my neighborhood for hours…no sunscreen. In my early twenties I would run for miles…no sunscreen. All I would hear was, “Wow Tennille your DARKKKK!” I would say, “well yeah I spend a lot of time outside – good thing I have all this melanin…I never get sunburned baby!!” Ummmm, well fast forward to present day and all I can say is I must’ve sounded so ignorant.

My frustration with a lot of sunscreens I’ve tried is that they left my face white!! I don’t know what companies think but hello, not everyone wants to look like a chalky zombie!!
