So much of my self-worth and identity as a young adult was wrapped up in motherhood. As a teen mom, I learned how to be a woman through being a mom. How to nurture, sacrifice and love beyond myself. We all know that a mother’s job doesn’t stop when your children become adults but it does change. One of my favorite changes has been the growing friendship. May and Xia have grown into my best friends and I’m so proud to be their mom. This Mother’s Day, I’m missing my baby Xia as she’s living her best life in Seoul. Meanwhile, May and I have had a beautiful time working on several Mother’s Day campaigns together including this very special jewelry campaign with BYCHARI. This was as dream campaign for us because not only have I loved BYCHARI jewelry for years (babes, Chari’s jewelry is STUNNING) but this was also the first time May and I did a modeling job together 😭😭.
