Can I just take a minute to say how grateful I am for my TTL family?! I started TTL with the hope that I could inspire women to embrace their individuality and pursue their joy, but what I got in return was so much more. In getting to know you, I can’t help but feel like the one who is inspired. Your messages and stories have lifted me up and shown me so much love especially during my most challenging times. Without you, I wouldn’t get to have a beautiful career that I love. Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I can’t believe that embracing my authentic self has helped me build a successful career. I was recently asked to sit down for a zoom interview with Kindra Mone to chat about my life and success as an influencer (now live on IPSY.com titled, Tennille Murphy is Building an Empire Through Authenticity: White Hair and All).
You’ll have to go check it out babes – it’s actually one of my favorite articles touching on my childhood, my curly and grey hair journeys, motherhood, aging gracefully, and building my TTL community. We talked about it all! While it’s easy to get buried in the day to day hustle, this article is a gentle reminder to take a pause and give myself recognition for how far I’ve come and all that I’ve accomplished.
It’s also a reminder to keep chasing my dreams and so I want to remind you to do the same. When you’re starting something new or pursuing a dream it can be scary. Especially when others around you don’t see your vision or believe in your dream. Don’t let that deter you. Surround yourself with who likeminded people who believe in your dream and want to see you succeed. The secret to success in anything you do is consistency, grit, and sacrifice. Some days, it’s just putting one foot in front of the other even when you’re not 100% sure where you’re headed. In the end, hard work pays off and everything will make sense when the time is right. As we approach the end of the year, it’s the perfect time to start putting your dreams into action. Make the new year about pursuing your joy.
I’m pursuing a nursing career after having a career as an accountant and having my own tax business. [Surgical] Nursing caught my attention when I was a little girl, but after my teacher told me that I will be in school for the rest of my life 😳
where can I listen your interview?
